Citizen Lab Senior Research Fellow Jason Q. Ng will speak at FIREWALL’s Creative Hacktivism Roundtable at Orbital at 155 Rivington Street in New York City. The event will begin at 7:30pm on Friday, February 26th, and will follow a Search Session and reception at the FIREWALL exhibition from 5:00-7:00pm.
Ng will be joined by Dan Phiffer of Mapzen, investigate journalist Sisi Wei, and Josh Bronson to discuss Internet censorship in China and international hacktivism in its many creative forms. Participants will also discuss constructing virtual networks, implementing collateral freedom, creating research, journalism, infographics, development, and design.
