Citizen Lab Director Ron Deibert joined Matt Galloway on CBC Radio’s Metro Morning on Friday, 17 January 2014. Professor Deibert spoke about the upcoming Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, also known as “The Surveillance Games”. Electronic surveillance and monitoring in Russia is pervasive, and the Olympics will be no exception.
“I’ve called it PRISM on steroids,” said Deibert.
